Viatti Strada 2
Viatti Strada 2 —
New summer tyres for cars
Detailed model description
The Viatti Strada 2 tyre is designed for passenger cars, subject to the speed and load performance characteristics of the tyre, to use on roads with enhanced heavy-duty road surfacing in various climatic zones at temperatures from +2C° to +55 C° without snow cover. It is a radial, tubeless, and extra load tyre with a road (summer) tread pattern. Technologies
The central annular grooves efficiently drain water off the tyre-to-road contact patch when it rains, providing a high aquaplaning resistance.
The transverse arcuate grooves in the shoulder area with optimal wall angles provide good traction when accelerating and safe braking on any type of hard road.
The central annular ribs and hard edges of the shoulder blocks provide high road holding when straight moving and exact steerability when high-speed maneuvering.
The area of the tread pattern creates an optimally dense contact patch between the tyre and the road surface, as well as a new rubber mix for an optimal grip ensures reliable and safe tyre operation in various weather conditions.
The sipes and grooves in the center ribs make extra grip for dynamic accelerating and braking.
The optimally designed profile and distribution of materials in the sidewall ensure balance of the tyre's handling and damping characteristics for comfortable operation in all conditions.
The patented solution of the wear level indicator allows you to control the evenness of tread wear in the following directions: 1) along the circumference of the tyre; 2) between the outer and inner sides of the tread pattern; 3) between the central and shoulder (side) parts of the tread.
Low rolling noise is the result of applying asymmetric tread pattern and pattern elements of different widths around the tyre.
Solid blocks on the outer side of the asymmetric tread pattern to provide high road holding and steerability when active maneuvering.
«Air pockets» on the edges of all annular grooves to absorb the resonance noise of tread blocks and provide acoustic comfort when driving.
