During the period from April to July 2020, the specialists of our tyre center carried out a comparative test drive of the Viatti Strada Asimmetrico summer tyres of standard size 205/55R16 operation on a 2014 KIA Ceed (a C-class vehicle in the European car classification).
During the test drive, in addition to Viatti Strada Asimmetrico, 2 extra sets of tyres were used – the OEM tyres by a Korean manufacturer and tyres made in Japan.
Tyre fitting and balancing were carried out by specialists from our car service certified by Nokian, at the VIANOR tyre center using Sivik and HOFMANN equipment. The tyres were balanced with the minimum amount of correction weights.
Herewith we present the report provided by the test drive pilot:
Test mileage: 4750 km
Operating conditions: air temperature from + 8 ° to 38 °; dry and wet asphalt.
Driving style: moderately aggressive
Test locations: a metropolis with excellent roads, an average town with varied levels of road condition, a highway, and a suburb with roads lacking hard surface.

Plus: Good wear resistance. It is quite difficult to get a bulge on it.
Extra bonus: on natural road and gravels, it performs better than previous tyres
Minus: Compromised comfort. Due to the stiff rubber, there is an increased noise level. One cannot but recall the additional advantages of the Viatti tyres – an affordable price and an extended one-year warranty provided with the purchase of a set of tyres.
